Play All Day

We had a great day of playing with our company!
Caleb and Emma built towers and houses with Great Grandma Carol.
We played at mommy and daddy's school playground. We played on the slides, climbed on all the jngle gyms, swang on the swings, and ran around just having a great time!

Caleb and Emma are not going to want our family to leave! We are all having such a good time!

Going to the Zoo

Off to the zoo again! We love the zoo! This time we took our guests from Minnesota! My Grandma Carol, Aunt Wendi and cousins Taylor and Jaime. They flew into to Boise on the 16th and today we went to the zoo. It was not so hot out and felt great to be out and about!

Caleb and Emma have no complaints about going to the zoo again. They sure loves the animals. Plus being outside is a huge plus! They love the slides and the hands on activities.

We had such a good time with Taylor and Jaime seeing the animals and playing. Jaime took the kids into the Prairie Dog house. They got to peek out of the big domes...I am pretty sure that Emma wanted to crawl into their home with them.

Caleb love the tiger and the lions. He stood and growled at the cages. I am sure the tigers and lions thought he was crazy. But he had a blast.

After the zoo we took our family to get lunch at one of our favorite burger places, Blazen Burgers in Nampa. Then we went home and had a picnic in the back yard. It was a fun day!!

Fun at Grandma's House

We had so much fun at Grandma Renee's house. Caleb and Emma loved playing with cousin Caden, Auntie Kelly and Uncle Jordan too. Cuddle time with Grandma and Grandpa! Plus bonus cuddle time with Great Grandma and Grandpa.
It makes it hard to come home to Idaho when my family is so far away. The kids have such a good time with everyone in South Dakota. I really thought a lot about moving home. I would LOVE my kiddos to grow up around Grandma. Plus having a cousin closer to their age would be nice. But such is life so we just have to make the most when we are all together!
Here are so pictures from around Grandma house:

Dinosaur Park - 2010

Dinosaur Park in Rapid City, SD
Here come the dinosaurs!!! We went to Dinosaur Park in Rapid City today. The kids were not sure what to expect as we talked about it. The seemed excited, but I knew that they really didn't have a clue about what it was.
Then we got the park. They couldn't wait to climb up the stairs and see the dinosaurs!

Caleb and Emma liked the dinosaurs, but seemed a little nervous about climbing or touching them. It was a slow process for them to open up. Once they did, they had fun. Next time we go it will be even better.
As soon as we got in the car to head back to Grandma's it started to down pour. We were glad we were not on top of the hill when it hit! We had a fun time seeing the DINOSAURS!

Stories Come to Life....Storybook Island - 2010

One of my favorite places to go in Rapid City quickly become one of Caleb and Emma favorites too! Storybook Island!!! We took the kids along with Grandma Renee, cousin Caden and Great Grandma and Grandpa Raymond for an afternoon of fun and exploring!

There is so much there the kids didn't know where they wanted to start first. So mommy and cousin Caden kind of lead the way. We got to see so so so many wonderful characters! The kids loved to play in the little houses, pumpkins, pirate ships, bean stalks, whales, bridges, etc.

Grandma Renee bought the kids train ride tickets on the Storybook Island Express. Of course this was a big hit! Great Grandma and Grandpa we troopers to tag along with us. Grandma Sis (my grandmother) kept up and took pictures too. Grandpa Marlyn sat a lot and watched. But I know he had so much fun watching Caden, Caleb and Emma.
Here are so highlight pictures from our day:

Old McDonald's Farm - 2010

This picture makes me laugh every time I look at it.

Before Jordan's graduation we took the kids out to Old McDonald's Farm outside of Rapid City. We had so much fun looking at and petting the animals. Emma has a huge heart for animals. The picture below tell the story of our day.

The Graduate - 2010

It is strange to think that 10 years ago I was graduating from Stevens High School in Rapid City, SD. Now, my baby brother just graduated from Stevens High School and it brought back lots of memories! I am super proud of my brother Jordan. I know that he will do great in college and go really far!!

I Want To Ride My Bicycle...

Caleb and Emma got a huge surprise at Grandma's house. Aunt Kelly bought them Strider bikes for Christmas/birthdays! They were so excited! Strider bikes are the coolest thing. They do not have pedals. The kids learn to balance on the bikes and then when it is time for regular bike the wont need training wheel. My nephew Caden had one and was a little speed demon on it. Now he has a big boy bike and he is a pro. Never had training wheels!
My kids were so excited to get their own bikes!
Here are some pictures of their new bikes:
