After a fun day at the zoo and lunch out with guests we were heading home for naps and relaxing time, when we had a real bummer on I-84! Driving along with quite a bit of traffic something was in the middle of road. I thought it was a muffler, but either way we were going to hit it. There was no where to turn to with all the traffic. So we hit it and Rick knew right away that our tire was gone!! We pulled off and realized that several other vehicles had hit the same item in the road . We were just one of about 7 other cars/trucks in the mess.
Turned out that what we hit was not a muffler, it was part of a big trucks drive line. Our damage was minor just the tire and alignment was off a little. AAA came to our rescue...thank goodness for being members. We sat out there waiting for the police to finish their report and the tire to be changed with the spare for about an hour and a half! I felt so bad for the kids, but they did so well.
