Christmas Eve - what a magical night for kids! Tonight we went over to Ron and Karin's house for dinner and cookie decorating. Auntie Karin surprised Caleb and Emma with new aprons that they get to keep. They were so excited! Karin had baked all the cookies ahead of time. So cousin Chrissy, Caleb, Emma, Karin and I decorated the cookies. Some of the cookies were very interesting looking! HaHa! But Caleb and Emma had so much fun! They couldn't wait to put cookies out for Santa!
After decorating the cookies we ate a great supper of lasagna, salad and garlic bread! Thanks Karin for a great supper. When supper was done with talked and laughed just enjoying the company of family. Caleb and Emma got to open one gift...their Christmas pajamas! A family tradition!!
The best part of the night was when we were on our way back to Grandma's house and we were telling Caleb and Emma we had to hurry and get to bed because Santa was on his way. Caleb and Emma saw a red light from a tower off in the distance. They were convinced that it was Rudolph! They started freaking out about getting to bed or Santa would not come! They were so excited!
Emma and Caleb ready to decorate some yummy cookies!
...more cookies! Can you tell which ones the kids decorated?
