Oh the ballet!! How I love you!!! It is so relaxing to go and watch the beautiful, graceful dancers and enjoy the spectacular music! What a great experience! If you have never enjoyed a ballet, you should go sometime. For the last 6 or 7 years I have gone to the Nutcracker with some very close church friends. I enjoy it every year. This year I got to share the Nutcracker with little Miss Emma.
Emma enjoyed it so much! Since she started dance this year, it means a lot to her. I loved watching her watch the dancers. She was a little disappointed in the fact that they did not talk, but I whispered the story to her as she watched. I was shocked that she did not fall asleep during the performance either.
At intermission we went to the lobby and bought a Nutcracker for Caleb and Emma picked out little ornaments for our tree. It was fun to share the experience with her. She said, "Someday I want to be the Sugar Plum Princess Fairy"! Wouldn't that just be something!?!
