There is nothing better at Christmas time than a church Christmas program put on by the kids department! I love seeing all the little ones dressed up as angels, sheep, shepherds, wise men, etc. This year program was called "A Not So Silent Night". It is about the trial of the shepherds that were disturbing the peace about the birth of the Savior. The big kids were the trial part of the story and the little kids were acting out the manger part of the story. Everyone did such a good job!
I was one proud mommy yesterday! Caleb and Emma were Joseph (Jofis as Emma says) and Mary. They did so well. I had to laugh a little during the time that Mary and Joseph were to be quietly sitting there with sheep, angles and shepherds around them, Joseph got a little protective! The sheep and angels started to touch Baby Jesus and try to pick Him up so of course, Joseph had to fight them off and tell them to "LEAVE THE BABY ALONE"!! But Joseph would go over and pick up the baby to rock and pat Him, that was okay, of course!
It touched my heart to watch Caleb and Emma sing all the beautiful Christmas songs and the way they looking at Baby Jesus was so sweet! I love the fact that my children ADORE Baby Jesus!
