There is nothing more romantic than a wedding! Especially, when the wedding is simple and you can tell that the two getting married are there for nothing more than LOVE and not the wedding day itself!
Rick's cousin Lyne, got married on March 9th. This is both John and Lyne's second marriage and you can tell that they love each other more than anything! The wedding was very simple, yet beautiful. Caleb and Emma were asked to be the Flower Girl and Ring Bearer. It is always an honor to have your kids asked to be in someones wedding. Of course, the bride and groom looked amazing! The little Flower Girl and Ring Bearer were so stinkin' cute and did a marvelous job!
The Bride and Groom (Lyne and John) with Caleb and Emma
Rick so enjoyed getting to spend some time with cousins that he had not seen in 15 years or more! For me, it was so nice to meet those family members. It was also a nice little drive over to Redmond, Oregon. Quiet and beautiful.

BUSTED...sneaking frosting off the cake!!!
Two funnies from the the weekend:
Caleb was none too thrilled about the pink tie, even though he looked so cute! He insisted that he was NOT going to wear it and it must be Emma's! I told him IT WAS for him and he WAS going to wear it...end of story. He got over it pretty quickly.
I also had to laugh a little because when we got home Sunday night Caleb and Emma were bickering a lot. I knew that it had been a long weekend for them. They were together the entire time, that is nothing new of course, but they shared a bed at the hotel and really had no breaks from each other or us. In the middle of one of their arguments I hear Caleb yell at Emma, "I AM VERY CROSS WITH YOU EMMA!" I laughed because I had never heard either of them use the word "cross" in that way. I am pretty sure I have never used it like that either. So, after I got them calmed down, I asked Caleb if he was still cross with Emma and he said no. I then asked him if he knew what "cross" meant. He used it right, but I was just curious what he would say. He looked at me like that was a dumb questions and said, "Yeah, it means angry!" That boy makes me giggle!
